White or grey much better primer colour. Most of the model colours are really designed for 1/35th scale so tend to l...

A richness of Marders part 4
This is the Maco Marder ( now produced by Special Armour). A beautiful little kit, very delicate so a challange for the ham fisted like me. Niether the build nor the paint job do it proper justice. Panther G Vespid early variant Panzer Rgt 24 Normandy 1944
This is utising the early G hull from the Vespid Sperber Infra red night fighting kit (VS720008). I added Zimmerit, the MAN variant with milliput and a stamp tool, long job. Otherwise pretty straight forward, added road wheels are from a Dragon kit kindly donated from a fellow Braille scale member. ...

Humber AC PSC
This is the relatively new release from PSC, the Humber ac. Annoyingly no headlights included, first couple have had a little fettling, headlights added grab handles replaced with wire etc The third is basically OOB. Decals from the excellent Dan Taylor set. Two turret options included. Goes togther...

Interesting book
As its that time of year where Wargamers/modellers oftren have to provide ideas for a relative as to a Christmas present I've just read the Roman Imperial Armour D. Sim and J. Kaminski. Its very well presented and written, for a very technical subject it reads very well. Gave me lots of info I didnt...

Re: Humbrol 155 Vallejo (or other) Equivalent
I agree the AK varnishs are terrific stuff, both the bottles and the spray cans. Windsor and Newton Artist varnishes are excellent as well. I use 155 as my top coat as well, the tamiya TS 28 spray is what I use as a base coat, the PSC Brit tank colour works ok as well. Brit/ US Olive drab is one of ...
