Have added the Bavarian army to my starter army collection, a good and cheaper way to start the WSS or just build on existing armies.

Macedonian pike, added to my 15mm Greek range, Alexander's cavalry will be next. Plus more added to the WSS range including Cuirassier cavalry with lobster pot.

The barrels not brittle, unless you drop on the floor, but I am slowly replacing them with metal turrets, keep an eye on the pictures, I did the tetranch first as that was the longest and thinnest

Its two pieces, turret and chassis, no muking about building just paint and play. I need a troop myself for Tunisia, later this year.

Just added to my 1/72 range is the smart looking Valentine III with and without sandshields. I tank that I always thought looked a lot better than it was in reality.

Skirmish was probably not giving the right impression, in my defence the scenarios are called skirmish. It's just slightly more skirmishy than battlegroup we were looking for, nothing wrong with battlegroup it's our go too set of Rules for ww2.
