Jim's second quarter offerings
First thing completed this month. It's a 15mm Warlord games -I think?, Panther G. I've tried to do a winter whitewash effect with hairspray and as it's the first one I have ever done like this I think it looks OK? No transfers here as its a kit my lad scrounged from a player at the local games store...

kampfgriup kaether
Since working on my Mad March build I've developed a bit of an interest in the later war, more the fall of Berlin and have seen mention and a few pictures of vehicles from kampfgriup Kaether. I assume this was a scratch group put together in the last days but can't find much online about it. Can any...

Re: Mad March Jim's build
Thank you. I kind of made it up as I went along!! Base coat of black grey, with thin wash of same once dry to catch a few missed places. Drybrush of German grey. Wash with vellejo streaking grime. Final drybrush with black grey and some highlite touches with thinned London grey. Sounds overly comple...

Re: Mad March Jim's build Finished
So got to the end and a result I am Happy with. Despite the setbacks and my almost constant grumbles about it its turned out better than I had hoped. Several small pieces are missing that a keen eye will spot immediately but that is a result of them either falling to the carpet monster or being more...

Re: Ebay
Then try it the other way. You can also use + before words so for example if I only wanted to look for metal or plastic15mm Ancient figures but not printed ones I could enter 15mm ancients +metal OR plastic This would only find auction titles that had 15mm ancients in it AND metal or plastic (not bo...

Re: Ebay
You can use multiple terms when doing searches 15mm British -3d -print -printed -resin The search only works on the subject line though, so if they don't mention any of the above in the item title then you will still see those things in the final search. You can save search details so you.dont have ...

Re: Mad March Jim's build (20.03 quick update)
I'm the biggest critic of my own work and that's the problem I think? Anyhow I've done a pin wash using my own mix of lamp black and umber oil paint with some very smelly white spirit and carefully applied it to the panel lines etc. and now await it it drying off before I attempt to remove any exces...

Re: Jims first quarter output (update 18.03)
Found these last night that needed some finishing touches and adding to bases. 15mm Spartan Hoplites, 3d resin prints that are wonderful figures but, like most 3d prints, really brittle. The shields are seperate which is nice and I may see if the company will print them alone and maybe a bit bigger ...

Gave up on airbrush as I couldn't get the air pressure right and got annoyed. It was OK for the base coat but the cammo was something els...
