Leros-1943
There are several useful links and videos attached to the following article. Interesting mix of uniforms and the dominance of the Luftwaffe comes across (video of Arado seaplanes escorting or flying over landing craft):

I hope it maybe of interest, especially the mix of uniforms and scenario/skirmish ideas. The inspiration behind the 'Guns of Navarone' book/movie, which went on to influence later movies.

Re-fought it as part of the SOGGy Aegean Adventure in 2011 - the pictures were originally all on their forum, now gone. I have my pictures on my Blog

Re: Leros-1943
Cracking game and thanks for posting those pics. I was watching 'They Who Dare' this morning which re-peaked my interest in Dodecanese campaign.
EDIT: Thanks for the link too. Quality visual feast!

Many thanx for the info....
Greatness is not in where we stand,
but in what direction we are moving,
we must sail sometimes in the wind,
and sometimes against it,
but sail we must, and not drift nor lie at anchor.

Miniature Wargames had the invasion written for Command Decision rules many moons ago with a 2-page full colour map, pretty good as i remember
Re: Leros-1943
The Rapid Fire site has Mark Piper's take on Leros as well.
Will thanks for the link to the photos, That really was quite a game even if RF's Naval Rules were stretched to at least their limits if no rather beyond.

Will, I still have my 75mm gun and emplacement from that game as well as one of my MFP's, Thomas bought the one with the red/white recognition stripes at the charity auction. All my other kit now lives in New Zealand.
