Don's entry - Goodwood stuff - updated 18th May

Post by Don McHugh »

Having spent the last couple of weeks painting tanks here are some of the results.

Image

Britannia dozer tank and crew figure. Figure has a head swap.

Image

More Britannia Shermans. The one with the allied star on the turret is the new one.

Image

Another new Britannia Sherman with the excellent S&S stowage.

Image

RTR crusader AA, pretty much out of the packet. Only a little stowage added on the back.

some close ups soon.

Great work Don, you’ve had the hammer down lately..... thmbs2)
Greatness is not in where we stand,
but in what direction we are moving,
we must sail sometimes in the wind,
and sometimes against it,
but sail we must, and not drift nor lie at anchor.

Having a rest this week and doing some 28mm Medieval Germans.

Got to love the Front Rank figures.

Having recovered from the rush to finish these, here is some more of the regiment.

Image

Britannia pretty much out the box.

Image

We could do with a few more of these n the game

Image

AOP tank, so command well down in the turret. Most of the stowage is Shaun's from S & S.

Image

I cannot recommend Shaun stowage enough. Tank is Britannia.

Image

An old Skytrex Culvert cutter added. Again stowage S & S.

Image

Shaun does about 4 different stowage sets, so if you add a couple more bits you get loads of variation.

Image

I think most of the track parts are the old Skytrex, now EWM.

Image

I think I did 9 x 75mm Shermans in total.

Image

This is the RTR humber light recce car with Shaun's Air Liaison team altered to fit.

Image

Added stowage I think from SHQ.

Image

I need to do a 1/2 version of the Air Liaison team, so will be trying to shoehorn the figures into another model.

Have a load of new terrain to do for the finished game, so will add that soon.

Only just seen these, they are great.
I don't generally go for Britannia tanks but these look good, and yes S and S stowage is perfect.

The Britannia tanks are all recycled, so old production. I picked them up on ebay and bring and buys.
