my entry - some French R35/39's
Hi All,
My entry to the Bicentennial Build - a platoon of French light tanks - R35/39's This is my first attempt at French Early War armour camo schemes. Took longer than I thought and was quite challenging given I just use brushes rather than an airbrush. With hindsight, I will do the next ones in just 2 colour schemes and use the AB crew figures to give them a bit more life.
Thanks for looking
James

Great-looking vehicles there and a crisp paint job!
Are these S-Model or something else?

Great entry....
Greatness is not in where we stand,
but in what direction we are moving,
we must sail sometimes in the wind,
and sometimes against it,
but sail we must, and not drift nor lie at anchor.

Paint job looks great. What make are the tanks and decals?

The decals are I-94 decal details - a few different packs - one for the symbols, one with roundels and one with tank names. They offer a very wide range of cheap decals that are useful for all sort of periods and vehicles. I usually pick them up a show - 5 packs for £10

A most impressive entry. Am particularly envious since I do not possess the imagination to do camp schemes on my own without a multi-view example of the model in question. Will be saving this for future reference!
