Operation Sealion
Re: Operation Sealion
Excellent! Look forward to it....
Greatness is not in where we stand,
but in what direction we are moving,
we must sail sometimes in the wind,
and sometimes against it,
but sail we must, and not drift nor lie at anchor.

Re: Operation Sealion
I really like the park piece and the use of interchangeable centrepieces is inspiring - and may have to be stolen

Re: Operation Sealion
The start of m6 1940 RAF Airfield.
The Hangar, lit up by red LED s for working at night. Do the RAF do overtime?
[/i]
The E Pen. Made from scrap and rubbish and an old green towel.
[/i]
Hurricane crashed short of the Airfield.
Runway - the Wind Sock is a finger from a rubber glove with three rings of wire inside (paper clip)
RAF Control Tower - mad3 mostly from card.

Inside the Control Tower.

The Coastal Battery. Again, made from bits of rubbish, wood and celotex .Some Any Scale Models guns modified to bigger calibration and yet to be added .... barbed wire out front, crew figures and the odd vehicle. Cobbled paper from Hobby Craft.

Absolutely top notch work there, really well done with superb attention to detail.....

Re: Operation Sealion
That is fantastic - it has "winner" written all over it
Mind you the chap that put up the fences on the gun battery might want to cut some gaps at the top of the stairs?
