What's in a name ?
There has been a definite movement in the last couple of years to get peope to stop calling the SdKfz 234/2 a "PUMA" because the Germans did not call it that during the war. Even the late great Thomas Jentz was a supporter of this.
However Osprey have published a book on "Panzer Reconnaissance" by Thomas Anderson in which he quotes many wartime German reports including one dated 30th January 1945 from the Abteilung Ausbilgung V(Panzeraufklärer)...Training Department (armoured recce)...in which the SdKfz 234/2 is called the Puma.
I for one am pleased to go on being lazy and using Puma which has fewer letters !

Will, I also used an entire pad of "post its" to note every factual mistake he made and could have used another if I'd noted the bad editing/print mistakes and terrible translations. That said it was worth the £10, especially when you see the price that Amazon wants for them.
