A13 Cruiser recommendations?
A13 Cruiser recommendations?
My local club is running a What a Tanker campaign and the desert battles are looming.
I am looking for a few A13's for early desert tanking, can anyone point me in the right direction?
I am aware of S Models but cannot find any in the UK, Frontline seem okay but l need open hatches, Early War Minis seem a little 'flat' in the turret, have l missed anything that is out there?

Re: A13 Cruiser recommendations?
The Milicast A13 range provides plenty of options for the A13 MkII and hatch options in resin.
They're 1/76 rather than 1/72 if that's an issue for you. In met and again 1/76 SHQ also have an A13.

The Milicast are very nice, size will not matter that much either so l will get a couple, thanks.

Other possibilities:
Skytrex (now 20mmZone) have an A13 Mk I,Mk II and a Mk II CS
Cromwell Models make/made a Mk. III and a Mk. IV
Minimi Miniatures (OOP)
Dan Taylor

Surely the Skytrex/20mm Zone A13s are now the already mentioned EWM ones

And I think the Dan Taylor ones must be his three different conversions for the S Models A13. You need to find and buy the S Model kit as well.

the S-Model A-13 (and many otehr 1/72 kits) are available from an Ebay seller in China called dawngrocerystore - I buy stuff regular off him (new Trumpeter kits, £7.80 each for example) and never have any problems getting them to the UK, usually within 10 days.
The S-Model A-13 Mk.1 set is currently listed at £9.80 + £4 p&p.

I buy from them too. Very good pricing, and posting has never let them down yet. They quote a long lead time for delivery, but it invariably turns up within a week or so....
Greatness is not in where we stand,
but in what direction we are moving,
we must sail sometimes in the wind,
and sometimes against it,
but sail we must, and not drift nor lie at anchor.
